![]() ![]() TCM ensures accurate Section Control and AutoTrac guidance performance. The TCM adjusts for roll, pitch, and yaw motion to improve receiver and AutoTrac™ system performance when operating in challenging conditions such as hilly ground. The StarFire 7000 and StarFire 7000 Integrated Receiver use an integrated terrain compensation module (TCM) to adjust the calculated machine position based on the terrain on which it is operating. This means you have more time to be productive and get the job done quicker. With the addition of this choke plate, there is a 66 percent reduction in the time it takes to acquire an SF-RTK correction signal from previous generations of StarFire receivers. The choke plate hardware in the StarFire 7000 Receiver more accurately directs GNSS signals into the antenna. Areas with thick tree lines or obstacles that could cause shading of the receiver.RTK Radio may still be required in the following scenarios: NOTE: SF-RTK uses satellite corrections only and does not require the use of an RTK Radio. Repeatability defines how accurately the receiver calculates its position over a relatively long-term window. NOTE: Compare this to the previous StarFire 3000 Receiver that was only capable of tracking one StarFire signal at a time and could wait up to 4 minutes to initiate the switch to the next available signal. When the receiver moves into an area where the primary StarFire signal is blocked, such as near a tree line, the receiver automatically switches to an alternate StarFire signal (if visible) to help maintain accuracy and performance. The receiver tracks and uses correction signals from all StarFire satellites in view and intelligently chooses one that delivers the best performance. The StarFire 7000 and StarFire 7000 Integrated Receivers simultaneously track correction signals from up to three StarFire correction satellites. The SF-RTK signal uses two additional satellite constellations (BeiDou and Galileo) as well as both GPS (United States) and GLONASS (Russia) satellites. This is an improvement of 17 percent from the previous generation of StarFire receiver. The SF-RTK correction level provides 2.5-cm (1-in.) horizontal accuracy without the need for additional hardware. The StarFire™ 7000 Receiver offers a new correction level with accuracy like RTK Radio. Skid Steers, Compact Loaders & Excavators. He said the BPD is very thankful for the voters that voted in favor of the G.O. When citizens vote for Bond Issues that support public safety, Chief Roles said it shows him that they live in a supportive community that wants public safety to be the best that it can be. Roles said not everyone agrees with them, and that's fine, but for the most part, the citizens trust and support law enforcement. Approximately $2-million in funding was included for the BPD's radio system upgrades in the $30-million that was approved for the city's capital improvement projects over the next several years.Ĭhief Roles said he believes that almost everyone in the community supports law enforcement and the mission of law enforcement. In August 2020, voters approved the City of Bartlesville's General Obligation Bond proposal and extension of the half-cent Capital Improvement Projects sales tax. He said the upgrades to their radio system in 2021 will do that for them. If the Bartlesville Police Department were to finds themselves in Tulsa County because of a police pursuit, because they were searching for a missing person, or because they were working some other crime, Chief Roles said it it would be great to know that they'll be able to communicate with their communication center back in Bartlesville. ![]() Chief Roles said they'll be able to communicate more distinctly with other agencies in Washington County as well as the Tulsa Police Department without interference. Radio communication should be clear and extensive once the upgrade is complete. He said it shouldn't be a lengthy process to get there radio system upgraded to the 800 MHz system to start 2021. Chief Roles said the radio static is a huge safety concern. He said there are so many place in the City of Bartlesville where an officer will go to talk on his or her radio and it's nothing but static. Roles said they have a system now that is less than adequate. Police Chief Tracy Roles said this is a much needed fix. The Bartlesville Police Department will upgrade its older VHF radio system at the beginning of the new year, improving coverage locally and statewide for police officers. ![]()
