We’ve been led to believe that our Hero’s story will be about traveling back in time and preventing this catastrophe from ever happening. Fans will be getting a new adventure in the Fable universe. This is not a simple remaster of the original game. What fans are calling “Fable 4” is actually a reboot of the series simply called Fable. Series creators Lionhead Studios can't make it because Microsoft shut them down in 2016 (a warning there about the dangers of consolidation as Microsoft, Embracer, and others continue hoovering up studios).
